It seems to me that blogging is about as useful a way of passing the time as tossing pebbles into the sea, so for what it's worth - and that's not a lot - here are a few pebbles.

A tame view?
Compared with what my Californian friend has posted on his blogs, this view might seem pretty tame, but I do like being able to look out over the Downs when I open the bedroom curtains in the morning.
I think after a time we tend to take certain views for granted until such time as a new light is shed upon them, or they are gone. I happen to be fortunate enough to live where there are more than enough views to satisfy almost anyone. I envy those who only have to open the curtains.
