It seems to me that blogging is about as useful a way of passing the time as tossing pebbles into the sea, so for what it's worth - and that's not a lot - here are a few pebbles.

That phone call
We reached an agreement. The company will reimburse the court fees plus a little more for the inconvenience to me and make a donation to the Lions charity funds.
