It seems to me that blogging is about as useful a way of passing the time as tossing pebbles into the sea, so for what it's worth - and that's not a lot - here are a few pebbles.

A real treat
Peas and runner beans, the first of this year's crop, with dinner last night. Picked and on the plate all within a couple of hours, and you can't get much fresher than that. This is when I enjoy gardening.

I finally got round to picking some of our apricots yesterday morning. The tree looks as though it hasn't been touched.
Mmm. Apricot jam is possibly my favourite. Either that or black cherry.
