We didn't eat at the Italian last night.  They were booked solid with a party of 45 so we went to one of the local carveries instead.  For £3.79 you get a choice of gammon, turkey, beef (and not mean portions either), cheese & potato pie or beef & onion pie and help yourself to vegetables.  There were peas, carrots, leeks, sprouts, cauliflower, mashed and roast potatoes - and a Yorkshire pudding.  Pretty good value.
