It seems to me that blogging is about as useful a way of passing the time as tossing pebbles into the sea, so for what it's worth - and that's not a lot - here are a few pebbles.

Near Burney, CA
Driving into the northern part of the state to meet up with friends at Burney, we detoured slightly to visit the Burney Falls but were delayed when we spotted this gorgeous view of Burney Creek.
