It seems to me that blogging is about as useful a way of passing the time as tossing pebbles into the sea, so for what it's worth - and that's not a lot - here are a few pebbles.

Occasionally,
very occasionally, a company comes up with a series of television advertisements that catches the public attention in a way that adverts so seldom do. Years ago, the ads for Nescafe ran a bit like a soap opera and people were agog to know what would happen in the next instalment. I don't recall another series quite like that, but a price comparison web site has come up with an idea that I find quite amusing.
