It seems to me that blogging is about as useful a way of passing the time as tossing pebbles into the sea, so for what it's worth - and that's not a lot - here are a few pebbles.

New kid on the block
At recent exhibition of the work of the world's most collectable new artist all 33 pictures sold in half-an-hour. For a total of £150,000, That's right, £150,000 for 33 pictures by a collectable artist. Doesn't sound much - but Keiron Williamson (the artist) is just seven years old. I'm not going to infringe his copyright by posting an image of one of his paintings but you can see them for yourself here. I think you will agree that they are stunning.

7 years old! The paintings are stunning. What a talent. My granddaughter must be a slacker. She's almost 5 and we have yet to see a recognizable watercolor.
