It seems to me that blogging is about as useful a way of passing the time as tossing pebbles into the sea, so for what it's worth - and that's not a lot - here are a few pebbles.

Another iconic view
Brighton Pier - or, as it was previously known and is still called by the locals, the Palace Pier - is for sale. Just how much it is likely to go for is open to question. My paper suggested anything between £1 million and £10 million. With a fun fair, amusement arcades (slot machines), restaurants, bars etc it can be a fun place for an afternoon. I borrowed to top picture, but the one below was taken when some American Lions were visiting.
