Really?

I was told this morning that owning a dog reduces one's stress levels and makes one a happier person. I shudder to think how stressed and miserable I would be if we didn't own a dog.

That's just propaganda. It's cats that make you less stressed. Or is it more stressed. Or is it mice? Oh, never mind.

There are certainly times when our dog increases my stress levels!

I have several local friends and a distant family member who'd probably agree with that increase in stress levels bit.
As for me, the local dogs don't do a thing to reduce Grandma Skip's stress level. That, of course, influences mine.
